It's always something around here....

So because life was a little calm around here for a while I knew it wouldn't last long. Thursday night I was in a pretty bad accident after I dropped Ava off at my moms. Thankfully aiden wasn't with me!

A lady ran a stop sign and plowed right into me. I actually remember everything and I walked away from the accident with only minor injuries and I'm so thankful for that. I did have to be taken to the hospital to be checked out and X-rays didn't find any broken bones. I'm very sore where my seatbelt tightened up and the airbags burned my leg and arms but it could have been a lot worse. Supposedly I'll be sore for a few weeks. Luckily Ryan has been awesome and has been doing everything around the house and with the kids. I can't even get myself off the couch or bed without screaming but hopefully I'll be back to normal really soon. It's been hard because my entire family has been out of town along with Ryan's family but we have managed.

Ryan was able to clean my van out yesterday and took a few pictures. I couldn't believe the damage when I saw it. I loved my van and I'm very sad it's totaled. I guess car shopping is in our future (which I hate).

And since I haven't been able to do much of anything around the house cooking has been out of the picture along with grocery shopping. We had been eating out for almost every meal and it was getting really old. Luckily we had dinner delivered to us last night and it was amazing. It was a casserole from hilltop in Shelbyville. I had no idea they even had such an option but will be keeping that in mind for the next time I need to take dinner to someone. What's even more awesome is both kids ate it. That says a lot since my kids are very picky. Maybe they were tired of fast food also!

I'm hoping to at least make it to work for half day either Monday or Tuesday. I'm still on lots of meds so we will see how it turns out. I've never been so ready to hold my baby girl who really doesn't understand why mommy can't pick her up. However aiden has been such a big help. He takes my hand and walks me to the living room and brings me water. He is so sweet! He also loves laying in bed with me and the company is always welcome!!! As you can imagine I have watched no less then 8672 Mickey Mouse episodes and the entire season of greys anatomy.
