Catching up

I've slacked on the whole blog thing lately but wanted to document some favorite times over the past couple of weeks. 

We have been having play dates on Thursdays and it's been so fun because all the kids are the same age. These two are only one month apart!

Papaw bought a boat so we took aiden for a ride one night. He loved it but mommy was a nervous wreck. 

We took an afternoon cruise on the belle of Louisville 

Danced at the street party 

Loved her swing 

Swam with friends 

Attended a birthday party 

Went for yogart because he slept all night in his big boy bed 

Went to the horse show 

And played at the park. 

It's been a busy, wild and fun couple of weeks! 

Playing around

Ryan gave me a new camera for mother's day/birthday/anniversary/X-mas, you know all the big holidays combined! HA!

I am going to take a class but have been playing around a little with it lately. Aiden isn't so keen on taking pictures these days but Ava just loves the camera!

 

 

July 4th

We had an amazing 4th of July this year! We spent the weekend hanging with friends and family, eating and playing in the pool. 

Aiden and I ended the weekend with a trip to target, Starbucks and breakfast at wild eggs! 

Is it sad that I bribed my two year old with Starbucks to go to bed the night before?! 

My favorite little man! 

8 months

Ava turned 8 months old on June 25. I've been so busy I haven't had a lot of time to blog but wanted to remember her moments at this age. 

You are sitting up without any support!

You are starting to put weight on your legs a little more. 

You aren't crawling yet but love to play on your stomach and will roll to get a toy you want. 

You laugh all the time at your brother  

You babble/talk a lot. 

You love to play with your toys and will sit and play for 30-40 min sometimes. 

Everything goes in your mouth and I mean EVERYTHING!  

You don't really care for baby food and we have a hard time getting you to eat. It's a chore. 

But you still love you bottle! 

You are even holding your own bottle now. 

You have slept all night a few nights but most nights you still get up to eat. We are working on this! Hopefully soon! 

County Fair

Nothing is more classy then the Shelby county fair let me tell y'all! Haha!  

Ok so it may not be all that great but at least the kids had fun and the people watching is out of this world! 

Asheville, NC

This past weekend my mom, Ava and I went to Asheville to see my sister who was in a wedding there. It was such a nice weekend and the weather was fantastic. Ava was so good and went everywhere with us! She is so easy right now and I love it! 

On Saturday we went to grove park inn for lunch and had the best view. How beautiful is this? 

Yummy cupcakes!! 

Then on Sunday we toured the Biltmore! 

It was a lovely weekend! Glad we got to see Sarah we miss having her close to us!

7 months

Ava is 7 months old 

She is sitting up without support 

Rolling all over the place 

Babbling like crazy! 

Sleeping through the night on occasion 

And starting to take baby food a little better. 

She is so happy all the time! 

She is also a Mommys girl! If I walk into the room I have to hold her. It's bad but I love it! 

She is in size 3 diapers and 9-12 month clothes. Her legs are so chubby and cute! 

She loves Aiden and laughs so hard when he is around. 

She also loves the pool and splashes like crazy.
